We know that we owe all of our success to your dedication, and so we want to make good on our promise by bringing you an additional gift to our Golden Joystick Victory Party! As announced, it’s going to be a bonus code, giving you loads of handy consumables to entertain your virtual tank crew. From there it was only a matter of time before the great World of Tanks player community would carry us on to win the Golden Joystick Award last Friday. When we hit 40 million registered players worldwide in the beginning of October, we knew we were on the right track. Over the next eight weeks we aimed to entertain you with fun and exciting contests that already produced a lot of winners. Many of you have followed our call to vote and supported World of Tanks in our Golden Joystick Contest Marathon.
Being wholehearted competitors, we immediately kicked off a global event initiative to try and win in the category of ‘Best MMO of the Year’.
It all started when we got nominated for a Golden Joystick in late August. The last two months have been an amazing time for Wargaming and its players.
